Want to learn photography from Harvard? The oldest institution of higher learning in the US is now offering .
The Digital Photography course has been available at the free learning service since 2013 as part of .
The will take you about 10 to 15 hours to complete, and teach a wide range of topics in digital photography, including exposure, reading histograms, learning about light, how sensors and lenses work, and how to post-process.
If you complete all the modules and score at least 80% or more on each assessment, you can qualify to receive an official ALISON diploma or certificate, or just settle for a PDF. So althought it's not quite the Harvard degree you always dreamed of, it's probably the next best thing.
So far, over 400,000 students have taken the course, and it seems to be quite well thought of: it currently has a rating of 4 out of 5 stars with 2,400+ votes.
Update: It looks like the course has been pulled for now. We'll update the story when we hear more.
