It’s been a big few months for Aussie gridiron player Jarryd Hayne. After making his move from NRL to NFL, Hayne signed a three-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers and now the 27-year-old has just landed his first lucrative sponsorship deal with sporting apparel giants Under Armour.
Hayne joins US golf sensation Jordan Spieth and NBA star Stephen Curry as ambassadors for the brand.
The ex-Parramatta Eels player has become a crowd favourite for the San Francisco 49ers since his breakthrough performances during pre-season and it seems the 49ers are keen to cash in on Hayne’s success, helping them to gain a new fan base in Australia.
