Having followed the coverage and reception of the all-new 2019 Silverado 1500 very closely, we have noticed that the majority of information has been focused on the new Silverado Trailboss LT. So we thought it pertinent to shine a spotlight on the 2019 Silverado High Country by sharing our photo gallery of that model from the floor of the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The High Country trim level for the 2014 model year, Silverado. Slotting above the LTZ trim level, the High Country is the range-topping Silverado model that – when it debuted – served as the ultimate expression of a luxurious Chevrolet pickup truck. The trim level was a direct answer to the F-Series King Ranch models from Ford. The High Country is back for the all-new 2019 Silverado on the – but it’s currently unclear whether the 2019 Silverado High Country will continue serving as the range-topping model, or whether Chevrolet will introduce another trim above it that would take on the likes of the F-Series Platinum and Limited, or if GM will continue reserving that space for the GMC Sierra Denali.
